“We must learn to take it one game at a time, because otherwise we run into trouble,” warned the vice-president on Sky Sport Italia.

“Juventus have been doing this well for years, but we can’t take anything for granted. It’s crucial to be concentrated on every match.

“A victory this evening would be positive for the group, but our first thought must be to go out enjoying our football, then the points will come as a consequence of that.”

Nedved was asked if Juventus were one of 10 candidates to win the Champions League this season.

“There are many strong sides in Europe who can beat us, or beat anyone. I understand it when Maurizio Sarri says that. We feel that we are a good level and can do something impressive.”
