Cagliari have announced that Joao Pedro has extended his contract with the club until 2023.
Joao Pedro had only signed on until 2022 last November, but he has now committed himself to Cagliari for a further year.
The attacking midfielder, 27, joined the Sardinian side in 2014 and they stuck by him during a doping ban last year.
He has gone on to score 44 goals and provide 17 assists in 165 appearances for the Rossoblu, helping them to sixth place in Serie A this season after 11 rounds of fixtures.
