Roma defender Gianluca Mancini will leave the Italy camp after suffering a muscle injury, the FIGC has confirmed.

Mancini was called up for Italy’s Euro 2020 qualifiers with Bosnia-Herzegovina and Armenia.

However, the FIGC announced this evening that the 23-year-old had picked up a muscle strain and would return to Rome tomorrow morning.

The former Atalanta man had been playing in central midfield for the Giallorossi, as is the extent of their injury problems.
