Serie B side Trapani, Serie C outfits Siena and Catania have been deferred to the Disciplinary Commission and could be docked points for not paying wages on time.

The FIGC prosecutor received notice from the COVISOC that the three clubs did not pay their employees the February 2020 salary by the March 16 deadline.

They could all now be fined or even docked points, particularly as Catania and Siena did not pay the January 2020 wages either.

These were situations that occurred before the lockdown or the coronavirus pandemic really hit Italy, so are not related to those events.
