Fiorentina have officially agreed a deal with their squad and staff to take a pay cut in order to help the club through the financial effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The three-month lockdown is now over with Serie A set to resume this weekend, but playing behind closed doors will also inevitably remove precious revenue streams.

Many of the Serie A sides have worked out agreements with their squad and staff to reduce their salary, usually by cutting one month, in order to help balance the books.
