Edinson Cavani and Thomas Meunier have reportedly played their last games for Paris Saint-Germain, so won’t stay on for the Champions League.

Ending Ligue 1 early due to the COVID-19 pandemic proved to be a rushed decision, but the club still has to prepare for the remaining European fixtures in August.

According to RMC Sport in France, Cavani and Meunier have informed PSG they won’t extend their contracts beyond June 30, so will walk away as free agents without playing in the Champions League.

Layvin Kurzawa and Choupo-Moting are in similar situations, but they seem prepared to stay until the end of August.

Meunier is widely expected to join Borussia Dortmund, but Cavani has been heavily linked with Inter, Napoli and Atletico Madrid.
