Spezia made history with their first ever Serie A win and achieved it against the odds away to Udinese, after going down to 10 men.

Andrey Galabinov has so far scored all three of Spezia’s top flight goals, having also found the net in their 4-1 defeat to Sassuolo.

There were a couple of disallowed goals in this game at the Dacia Arena, although Galabinov’s header was the difference for much of it.

Claudio Terzi saw red, leaving the visitors a man down for half-an-hour, while goalkeeper Jeroen Zoet was stretchered off.

However, substitute Rafael’s long ball allowed Galabinov to score a classic route one goal to secure the points in stoppages.
