The captain scored the opening goal in a semi-final second leg that ended 2-2 after extra time, sending the Bianconeri through 4-3 on aggregate.
“We are happy at our qualification for the Final. Milan and Juventus have always had and will always have great games, because they are two huge clubs,” said Del Piero.
“Even after Zlatan Ibrahimovic went off, Milan played very well and forced us into extra time. Thankfully we were then able to find the decisive goal.”
The teams are also doing battle in Serie A for the Scudetto, as four points separate them at the top of the table.
“We will fight on both fronts until the bitter end and I promise we’ll make life very difficult indeed for Milan until the last game.”
