Juan Manuel Vargas has promised that Fiorentina are doing their best to work their way out of a current crisis.
With just one win from the last seven played, La Viola have slipped to 16th in the table. Following on from last weekend’s 5-0 thrashing to rivals Juventus in front of their own fans - the club’s heaviest League home defeat ever - the players have been in a training retreat looking to halt their slide.
Vargas, whose form has been inconsistent this season, has promised that the fans will soon see a brighter Fiorentina emerge and that he will also return to form as an individual.
“This bad moment will pass quickly,” the 28-year-old Peruvian promised via his official website.
“The team is doing everything possible, but sometimes things do not go as you intend them to.
“And as far as I’m concerned, I am doing my best to return to my level.”
