There are slight concerns over Miroslav Klose’s condition after he pulled out of a training ground friendly with a suspected thigh strain.

Taking part in a training match open to the public between Lazio and the club’s youth team - coached by Simone Inzaghi - Klose pulled out after just 20 minutes.

The Polish-born German international is believed to have injured his left thigh, which if as suspected turns out to be because of a strain, will certainly rule the striker out of the weekend’s match with Cagliari.
