Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne would like to continue playing for Pescara should they be promoted to Serie A next season.
The 20-year-old joined Zdenek Zeman’s side last summer after previous loans spells at Cavese and then Foggia.
The attacker has been a revelation in the Second Division and one of the reasons behind his club’s promotion bid.
A return to Napoli at the end of the campaign is being suggested, but the Italian Under-21 international may have different ideas.
“They know me in Pescara, I’m dong well and that needs to continue,” said the player who has 11 goals in Serie B this term.
“We’ll have to see what happens in the future about Napoli, we need to understand what the best solution would be for everybody.
“But if we are promoted and a new loan deal is necessary then I will do all that I can in order to remain at Pescara.”
