Daniele De Rossi had a scare in training, but is expected to start in central defence for Roma against Novara.
The midfielder interrupted his training session early today after a collision with teammate Bojan Krkic.
He suffered a heavy bruise to his left elbow, which was very painful, but is still expected to be in the starting XI tomorrow.
Coach Luis Enrique hinted De Rossi “will play in central defence, as he gives me guarantees in that position.”
It is likely he’ll be joined in the back four by Simon Kjaer, Rodrigo Taddei and Jose Angel.
