Inter technical director Marco Branca has intimated that the club will consider making a bid for Mario Balotelli.
The latter left the Nerazzurri for Manchester City in the summer of 2010 after a €22m fee was agreed between both clubs.
Balotelli, however, has been linked with a return to Italy with Inter and Milan apparently keen on his services.
“This is not the time or the place to talk about Mario Balotelli,” Branca stated on Thursday afternoon at Fredy Guarin’s Press conference.
“We’ll talk about it again in a month or two, once the present campaign has come to a conclusion.
“This season has been a transitional one for this club. We obviously want to do a lot better from next season onwards.”
Inter President Massimo Moratti has admitted that he considered making a bid for the Italian international before this season started.
The club are expected to rejuvenate their squad after a disastrous campaign under three different Coaches so far.
