Roma have yet to make a move for Palermo’s Matias Silvestre – a player who his agent feels would be “perfect” for the Giallorossi.
The latest transfer speculation has paired the Argentine with the capital club, but we are still at the rumour stage.
“I’ve heard the talk that Roma want Matias, but I have to be honest and admit that nobody from the club has been in touch with us,” agent Fernando Cosentino noted.
“However, Silvestre would certainly be happy to play for a great side with a big project. He would be a perfect player for the Giallorossi.”
The South American, who actually has the right to play for Italy, only joined Palermo in the summer from Sicilian rivals Catania.
The 27-year-old, three goals in 25 League games this term, is currently sidelined with injury.
