Donadoni: 'Parma can upset Udinese'

Roberto Donadoni is fresh from a surprise victory over Lazio and hopes Parma can “find the right ferocity” to repeat the trick against Udinese today.

The Ducali ended their winless streak last week with a 3-1 result and this afternoon visit another of the clubs fighting for third place.

“Udinese have done great things so far this season, repeating their achievements from last term. Players like Antonio Di Natale can turn a game at any moment, while the team has enthusiasm and wants to amaze.

“That must also be our approach. We too want to surprise the critics and prove the win over Lazio was not a fluke. Our objective is to bring consistency to what we did last Saturday.”

As there is a midweek round next Wednesday against fellow relegation battlers Novara, some might suggest Donadoni’s Parma preserve energy.

“It would be a terrible mistake. We have to play at the best of our abilities, prove that Parma are in this fight and find the right ferocity to repeat the Lazio performance.”
