Alessandro Diamanti has admitted that he’d like to remain at Bologna for the 2012-13 campaign.

The Italian international is co-owned with Brescia, but he has his eyes on a permanent future at the Stadio Dall’Ara.

“I’d love to stay at Bologna,” stated the attacking midfielder. “That being said, I’ll have little say in the matter.”

The 28-year-old has been a regular with the club since he arrived at the start of the present campaign.

The former Livorno player moved back to Italy in the summer of 2010 after a year at West Ham, but he was unable to keep Brescia in Serie A.

Brescia may look to recall him to the Stadio Rigamonti if they are successful in winning promotion back to the top flight.
