Siena boss Giuseppe Sannino has underlined that the talented Mattia Destro is still not the finished product.
The 21-year-old has caught the eye this season after he joined the Tuscan minnows on loan from Genoa in the summer.
The Italian Under-21 international has subsequently been linked with Juventus, Roma and former club Inter, but Sannino has cooled the enthusiasm over his young hotshot.
“He’s not yet complete as a footballer,” the tactician noted. “It would be heresy to suggest otherwise. He has margins of improvement.
“He’s made his bones this season with us and he’s had the honour of leading our attack. Whoever bosses him in the future will have a potential talent at their disposal.”
The forward, who Siena will be forced to sign a 50 per cent share of at the end of the season, is expected to move on in the summer.
