Italy Coach Cesare Prandelli has had some words of encouragement for Inter’s latest Coach Andrea Stramaccioni.
Visiting the Nerazzurri’s training complex today as he continues a brief tour of clubs around the country, the CT remarked at how impressed he has been with Stramaccioni’s attitude during his rapid ascension from youth team Coach to head of the senior side.
“I complimented Stramaccioni [when meeting him] because it hasn't changed the way he is,” Prandelli told Inter’s official website on Monday.
“He transmits enthusiasm and confidence precisely because he has remained himself. I really had to give him my most sincere congratulations.
“Apart from the weather... [the atmosphere here is] a fine one, with a lot of enthusiasm from the players.
“This is what should always be present with a football team and it's what I've seen here today.”
Prandelli also fielded a question on Inter’s provision of players at the various youth levels in the national team.
“The youth sectors are essential areas, but especially the teams that manage to project and provide the right mentality to these lads.
“It seems to me that lately many teams, like Inter, are doing a really good job.”
