Pioli seeks Bologna precision

Bologna have hit problems recently and Stefano Pioli urges them to “rediscover that precision” against Cagliari tomorrow.

The midweek round concludes on Thursday evening at the Stadio Dall’Ara between two teams who are not mathematically safe from the drop yet.

“In my lads I see hunger and determination. We want to be a team to win duels, tackles, 50-50 balls and put all our potential on to the field,” said the Coach.

“To beat Cagliari we need a good performance, maintaining our concentration for the entire match against a solid, dangerous and tactically unpredictable side.”

The Rossoblu had been soaring, but have picked up just two points from the last four games.

“Bologna are in good shape, but we must focus only on this game and rediscover that precision that has been lacking recently. That is what we need to finalise the scoring opportunities created.”
