Walter Samuel is expected to be sidelined for the next three weeks after limping out of Inter’s game with Siena.
The veteran was replaced in the 38th minute of Wednesday’s 2-1 come from behind victory against the Tuscans.
Samuel has strained a muscle in his right leg which the club believe will keep him out of action for around 21 days.
He is set to miss the ties against Udinese, Fiorentina and Cesena.
The 34-year-old centre-back has scored twice in 24 League games for the Beneamata so far this season.
