Leonardo Bonucci is unlikely to be available for the Cesena game after the Juventus man had surgery on his nose.
The defender suffered a fracture during last night’s 2-1 win over Lazio following a late clash with Libor Kozak.
The former Bari man underwent tests this morning which revealed the need for a minor operation. The procedure took place at around 1pm Italian time.
Bonucci will be released from hospital later today and his fitness will then be assessed on a daily basis at Vinovo.
The Italian international is set to miss out on this weekend’s game at Cesena, but he could feature against Roma with the aid of a mask.
