Serie B sides Bari and Crotone have been docked points after irregularities in their wage and tax payments.

The Disciplinary Commission confirmed this afternoon that the clubs broke rules on paying wages and their players’ tax contributions from April to December 2011.

Bari were docked two points and drop to 44, while Crotone have one point taken off their standings and are now on 39.

Bari were docked two points and drop to 44, while Crotone have one point taken off their standings and are now on 39.

Bari had already been handed a four-point penalty over financial irregularities, while Crotone were on -1 for similar reasons.

There were also penalties in Lega Pro for Spal and Taranto (-4), Piacenza and Pergocrema (-3), Montichiari, Ebolitana and Foggia (-2) and Alessandria and Como (-1).
