Udinese and Inter come face to face on Saturday, but the Friulani confirm negotiations already began for Juan Cuadrado.
The talented Colombian turns 24 next month and is currently impressing on loan at Lecce.
“There was an interest from Inter for the player, then the situation did not progress because Cuadrado was completing his maturation process with Lecce and we thought it best not to interrupt that,” revealed Udinese director of sport Fabrizio Larini.
“Tomorrow is going to be a very important game, both for us and for Inter. There are three points up for grabs that, considering the other fixtures with head-to-head clashes for European places, could prove decisive for the objectives of these two clubs.”
