Juventus are reportedly looking to Uruguay for next season, as it’s a race between Liverpool’s Luis Suarez and Napoli hero Edinson Cavani.

The Bianconeri confirmed they want to reinforce their attack to compete in the Champions League and will bring in at least one big-name hitman.

According to Italian newspapers, the main targets are Uruguayan internationals Cavani and Suarez.

Tuttosport claim this morning that director of sport Fabio Paratici has already been in contact with Cavani’s agent Angelucci.

Juve have reportedly offered €2.3m per season wages, doubling what he currently earns at Napoli, and a transfer fee of €60m could be enough to prompt a sale.

The Turin giants would also be able to include players as part of the deal, such as Milos Krasic or Felipe Melo. Even more likely is that Juve would sell their half of Under-21 international striker Ciro Immobile, who is doing well in Serie B with Pescara.

The other option for the Bianconeri is Suarez, who has had a troubled campaign at Liverpool due to problems on and off the field.

He is thought to be unhappy in the Premier League and his price-tag is €30m, but the wages could be an issue, as he would demand at least €3.5m per season.
