Douglas Maicon will hold negotiations with Inter at the end of the season before contemplating his future.
There is talk that the right-back could be offered a new deal by the Nerazzurri once this campaign comes to an end.
“At this moment in time we have not heard from the club to discuss a possible contract renewal for Maicon,” Roberto Calendo told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
“A decision should be made before June. We are looking at other offers, but Inter do remain the priority for us.”
Maicon, who will be 31 in July, is contracted to the San Siro giants until June 2013 with an annual salary of €4m a term.
The former Monaco man, a Brazilian international, has been linked with the likes of Real Madrid in the past.
