Michele Camporese has a part to play in Fiorentina’s future, the defender’s agent has insisted on Monday.
The stopper, just 19, has only appeared in two Serie A matches for the struggling Viola so far this term.
“The club are counting on him,” Davide Lippi told Radio Rosa. “The fact that he extended his contract in the autumn demonstrates great belief in him.”
The Italian youth international, still just 19, was born in Pisa and is a product of Fiorentina’s youth academy.
In November, he put pen to paper on a new long-term contract that will see him remain at the Stadio Franchi until June 2016.
