Cesare Prandelli has confirmed Antonio Cassano “is in my personal Euro 2012 album” after Panini stickers left him out of the Italy section.
The teams have not yet been announced for the tournament to be played in June, but Panini have presented their legendary sticker album and Cassano does not have a place.
“In my personal Euro 2012 album, Cassano is there,” the Italy Coach told TV programme Le Iene. "But I want him pictured with a smile."
Prandelli has pledged to wait until the last minute for Cassano to pass fitness tests, as he has just returned for Milan after five months out following heart surgery and a mini-stroke at the end of October.
He had also wanted to wait for Giuseppe Rossi, but the Villarreal striker damaged the same knee ligament that ruled him out for six months, so will be sidelined until next season.
