The Brazilian is wanted by his former club, but he’s apparently snubbed the chance of a move at the end of the campaign.

The 33-year-old, instead, wants to see out his contract with the Stadio Olimpico outfit which expires in June 2013.

The former international joined the Italian club in the summer of 2007 from Bundesliga giants Bayer Leverkusen.

The South American has played in just 16 Serie A games under Luis Enrique this term, but he has scored three goals.
