Milan veteran Alessandro Nesta has categorically ruled out the possibility of a summer move to rivals Juventus.

The centre-back has been paired with a Bosman switch to the Turin giants in a similar transfer which friend Andrea Pirlo made last year.

“We’ll have to see about my future,” the former Italian international told Milan Channel with just months left on his contract. “We’ll assess everything at the end of the season.

“I certainly won’t be joining Juventus, this is for sure,” he added. “Things will have to be evaluated once the campaigns ends.

“However, I want to make it clear that I’m not going to Juve. I don’t have an agent and if someone wants me then they have to talk to me direct.

“Nobody has been in touch with me, I have no need to go to Juve and they don’t need me – it’s not a problem.”

It’s unclear at this stage whether Nesta, one of 10 players at the club with expiring contracts, will be offered a new one-year deal.

The 36-year-old has played in just 12 Serie A games this term. He’s also featured in seven Champions League ties and one Coppa Italia match.
