Milan made a bid for Domenico Criscito before he left Genoa for Zenit St Petersburg last summer.
The Rossoneri are today being linked with the Italian international, but his agent has underlined that the player is content in Russia.
“The boy is happy at Zenit,” Andrea D’Amico told TMW on Thursday afternoon. “He instantly settled and his experiences there, on a personal and professional level, are positive.
“Domenico is a player who Milan looked at before Zenit came in, but we haven’t spoken to them since then.
“I’ve not been contacted by the Rossoneri.”
Criscito, born in December 1986, has played for Genoa and Juventus so far in his career. He cost Zenit €11m in June 2011.
