Parma have insisted that boss Roberto Donadoni will remain at the club – but they are not so sure when it comes to Sebastian Giovinco.
Boss Donadoni replaced Franco Colomba on the Stadio Tardini hotseat in January, but the side have become draw specialists under the former Italian national Coach.
The Gialloblu, however, insist that the ex-Milan winger will at least see out his contract which expires in 2013.
“Roberto Donadoni will certainly remain on our bench,” President Tommaso Ghirardi noted on Friday morning.
Parma are only three places and four points above the drop zone with six top-flight matches remaining this term.
While the team has struggled, forward Giovinco has impressed with 11 goals in 30 Serie A games. That form has led to transfer links with Juventus – who co-own him – and even Barcelona.
“Giovinco could leave if we receive a valid offer,” Ghirardi said.
Parma signed a 50 per cent share in the Italian international last summer for just €3.5m.
