Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has reportedly turned down an advance from Juventus this week to join the Italians in the summer.

The Dutch attacker’s contract with his German employers expires in June 2013, leading to speculation that the club might sell him this summer.

Speculation has intensified this week in light of an alleged dressing room clash between Robben and Franck Ribery over free-kick duties during their semi-final meeting with Real Madrid in midweek.

However, as German newspaper Bild report, Robben has indicated that he wants to stay with the Bundesliga outfit.

This is based on an alleged text message that the player is said to have sent a Juventus official in response to an approach from the Serie A side.

“I thank Juventus for the call and the interest. It is a great honour to be linked to a great club. But, I have no interest in moving at this time,” the message is believed to read.

The Bianconeri had reportedly lined up a three-year contract with a €5m salary in an attempt to lure the 28-year-old away.
