Beretta: 'Cesena all about pride'

Cesena are propping up the table and could be mathematically relegated today, but Mario Beretta demands “pride” against Palermo.

The Sea Horses have been aware for several weeks that they are not going to be in Serie A next season save for a miracle.

“The team is training well and has the right attitude,” said the Coach. “We want to face this game with the best approach, determination and pride.

“It is pleasing when fans stop you in the street and salute you with warmth. It’s a way for them to show their gratitude and lets you know that you’re doing the right thing.

“I don’t think Palermo are in the fight to avoid relegation. They are coming off a series of good results away from home and have great players in their ranks.”
