Kevin-Prince Boateng is back in the Milan squad to take on Genoa tomorrow evening, but Robinho, Philippe Mexes and Clarence Seedorf miss out.
The Ghanaian international has been struggling with injury all season and is finally ready to get back on to the pitch after three weeks out.
It is intriguing that he will face Genoa, as the club originally signed him from Portsmouth and handed him straight over to the Rossoneri.
However, Massimiliano Allegri must do without Robinho, Seedorf, Thiago Silva, Massimo Ambrosini, Alexandre Pato, Gianluca Zambrotta, Pippo Inzaghi and Flavio Roma.
The defence needs to be reshuffled, as Daniele Bonera is suspended, while Mexes is suffering from flu symptoms.
Milan squad: Abbiati, Amelia, Abate, Antonini, Mesbah, Nesta, Yepes, Aquilani, Boateng, Emanuelson, Gattuso, Merkel, Muntari, Nocerino, Strasser, Van Bommel, Cassano, El Shaarawy, Ibrahimovic, Maxi Lopez
