Parma team manager Alessandro Melli is hoping that the club can keep a hold of Sebastian Giovinco for one more season.
The Italian international is part-owned with Juventus and a summer switch is expected given the transfer interest in him.
“I hope that he can stay here with us for one more year,” stated the former Parma and Italy forward to Sky Sport Italia.
“I think it would help his professional growth if he was to remain for one more campaign at the Stadio Tardini.
“I believe that he can become a great player. If he can marry quality with consistency then I do think that he can also have a satisfying international career.”
Giovinco, linked with Barcelona, is a 25-year-old forward who has scored 12 goals in 32 League appearances this season.
