Amauri may have played his last game for Fiorentina after he limped out of Wednesday’s 2-1 win at Roma.
The Brazilian-born Italian international was used as a second half substitute at the Olimpico, but had to be withdrawn himself following 34 minutes with injury.
Amauri has picked up a muscle problem which will be examined by Viola medics later today.
Reports suggest that if his expected tear is only a first grade issue then he’ll miss the ties against Atalanta and Novara.
If the injury is more serious – a level two pull – then he would be out for the rest of the season.
Amauri joined Fiorentina in January from Juventus. He only signed a six-month deal which means he will be a free agent in the summer.
The 31-year-old, one goal in 13 League games for the Tuscan outfit, has been linked with a move to Parma.
