The Serie B stopper, a contender to make Italy’s Euro 2012 squad, has been paired in the past with Serie A clubs such as Roma and Napoli.

“That was just journalistic talk,” the centre-back told Sky Sport Italia. “There was never anything serious behind it. I deal with reality.

“My future? To be honest, I’ve not thought about it,” he added. “I’m just concentrating on the season with Torino.”

Ogbonna, who will be 24 next month, recently extended his contract with the Turin outfit until June 2016.

Toro are currently top of Serie B, four points clear of Verona and five ahead of Pescara.
