Serie A leaders Milan have this afternoon unveiled their new home shirt for the 2011-12 campaign.

Adidas have taken inspiration from history after the jerseys were modelled by Mark Van Bommel, Clarence Seedorf and Luca Antonini.

"We decided to recall tradition," Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani said. "This is a shirt which recalls those historical Milan ones of the past."

The black and red stripes are thinner than they have been in recent times, while the Adidas stripes are boldly represented on the shoulders in white.

Although for use next season, Milan will actually wear it for their last home game of this season when they face Cagliari in Week 37.
