Big clubs want Destro

Siena have admitted that Mattia Destro will be a wanted man on the transfer market at the end of the campaign.

The Italian Under-21 international, co-owned by the Tuscans with Genoa, has been a revelation in Serie A this season.

After 10 goals in 27 top-flight games, he’s been linked with Italian giants such as Juventus and former club Inter.

“He has the criteria to be of interest to the big clubs and that has happened,” Siena sporting director Giorgio Perinetti stated.

“There are at least two or three sides who are chasing him.”
