Cossu: 'Why I want to beat Juve'

Massimiliano Allegri can count on special friends at Cagliari to trip up Juventus tonight. “They sent us into Serie B,” noted Andrea Cossu.

Milan are one point adrift of the leaders and Allegri has to hope his former club, including many of the players he launched in Serie A during his time there, can hold the Bianconeri.

“If you beat Juve, then you are the only ones who did it. If you draw, you enter the history books as Scudetto deciders,” said Davide Astori.

“Allegri is a unique and truly incredible person. We all owe him a great deal.”

Cossu has already scored against Juve this season in a 1-1 draw in Turin and has an ulterior motive to cause an upset.

“Allegri is a great man, but I want to win for Cagliari. We don’t forget that 20 years ago Juve sent us into Serie B.”
