Title-less Ibra makes Milan pledge

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has again underlined his commitment to Milan – even after missing out on his first League title in eight years.

The super Swede had won successive championships during spells at Ajax, Juventus’ Calciopoli Scudetti, Inter, Barcelona and Milan last season.

However, his dreams of nine in a row ended on Sunday when his side lost 4-2 to Inter and Juventus’ win against Cagliari ensured them the title.

“It’s disappointing that we didn’t win the Scudetto, but this has been my best scoring season on a personal level,” said the man with 28 in 31 League games.

“My future? I have a contract at Milan and I intend to respect it.”

Stories last week suggested that Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho, his former Coach at Inter, has asked him about the possibility of moving to the Spanish capital.
