Stephan El Shaarawy is pleased with how his first season at Milan went on a personal note, even if the club haven’t won anything.
The 19-year-old joined the Rossoneri last summer from Genoa, having previously impressed in Serie B with Padova and has managed to appear in almost half of the unsuccessful title-chasers’ games this season.
“The season has been very good on a personal level,” reflected the Italian with Egyptian heritage on Milan Channel.
“Early in the campaign I did not anticipate playing many games, whilst they said that the Coach had little confidence in me.
“However, I have racked up 28 appearances, two of those in the Champions League, but I think also, maybe I could do better.
“In any case, I am satisfied and I am glad to have also proven myself.”
