Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed Paris Saint-Germain “will re-open talks” with Milan for Alexandre Pato in June.

The French side had agreed a transfer in the mid-season window, but the deal suddenly collapsed when Pato and President Silvio Berlusconi pulled the plug.

“We had already talked about this in January and I think we will re-open talks in June,” Coach Ancelotti told Sky Sport Italia.

Meanwhile, other Rossoneri veterans like Alessandro Nesta, Gennaro Gattuso and Pippo Inzaghi have announced their departure.

“There is some disappointment, as these are players who had a great career at Milan, but life goes on. Other doors will open for them.

“As for Massimiliano Allegri, I think it is tougher to be the Coach of other clubs, as Milan have a great infrastructure. Milan has the ideal environment to work at your best, probably more than at any other club.”

There have been reports that PSG director Leonardo could be making a return to Inter in a behind the scenes role.

“Everything suggests Leo will stay here. His work has been greatly appreciated and there is so much more to do. He is motivated and happy in Paris.

“Are we like Manchester City? There are some differences. PSG will make targeted investments with new players to improve the quality of the team.”
