Milan will meet with the agent of Maxi Lopez later this week to discuss the Catania player’s future.
The striker joined the Rossoneri on loan in January at a cost of €1.5m, with an option to complete his signing for a further €8m this summer.
Vice-President Adriano Galliani was set to meet with the Argentine’s agent Andrea D’Amico at some stage today.
However, that meeting has now been switched to Thursday.
Lopez, 28, scored just two goals in 11 games for the Rossoneri over the last six months.
It’s understood that Milan may ask Catania if they are willing to offer a discount on the €8m previously agreed.
