Ezequiel Lavezzi and Napoli are reportedly close to reaching an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain, so Inter are redirecting their interest to Mattia Destro.

‘Pocho’ has been heavily linked with a move away from the San Paolo this summer, earning him boos from the crowd during the final Serie A game of the season.

The biggest contenders for his signature are PSG and Inter, but according to Mediaset the French side are close to an agreement.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side are said to be in negotiations for a contract worth €5m per season, plus the €31m to activate his buy-out clause from Napoli.

Taking this into account, Inter are turning their attention to Siena hitman Destro, who received a call-up for Italy’s Euro 2012 long list.

He grew up in the Nerazzurri youth system, but was sold to Genoa as part of the Andrea Ranocchia deal.

Now co-owned by Genoa and Siena, the hitman is again of interest to Inter, as confirmed by Coach Andrea Stramaccioni.
