Ricky Alvarez should be ready for the start of pre-season training after the Inter player had minor knee surgery.
The South American, signed from Velez last summer, had an injury affected first campaign at San Siro.
The attacking midfielder has now undergone a small procedure on his right knee to deal with the recurring problem once and for all.
Alvarez, 24, should thus now be ready for Inter’s start to the 2012-13 season which will begin on July 5.
He scored two goals in 21 League games for the Beneamata this term. He also grabbed one in five Champions League encounters.
