Napoli great Giuseppe Taglialatela has warned the club not to sell Ezequiel Lavezzi to a Serie A rival.

Inter are being heavily linked with the Argentine, even if it is believed that Paris Saint-Germain are leading the race for his signature.

“I think that Napoli have found a club who are willing to meet the buy-out clause in his contract,” the former goalkeeper told Radio Sport 24.

“However, if it was up to me, then I would only sell him to a foreign outfit. I would not strengthen a direct rival in the League.”

Any club interested in the forward can sign him if they agree to pay the €31m rescission fee outlined in his agreement.
