“As of today, there is no chance of that happening,” Pierfilippo Capello told Sky Sport Italia television.
“I was also astounded to read these reports, but there really is nothing in it. He has had no contact with Chelsea.
“Other clubs have stepped forward, but these were only initial contacts and not any actual proposals. This is the month of transfer games and so much talk, but contracts are not signed now.
“The economic issue comes later, as when negotiating the first aspect we ask about is the potential of a side, the desire to buy players and seasonal objectives.”
