New Milan signing Bakaye Traoré cannot hide his enthusiasm at making the move. “I am so proud, as I didn’t expect them to show interest in me.”
The midfielder was snapped up as a free agent after his contract with French club Nancy expired.
“I am very proud to become part of one of the biggest clubs in the world,” he told the official Nancy website.
“I know they believe in me at Milan, as they tried to sign me several times. Now I am ready to fight for my space in the side.
“It was strange to hear Milan made an approach, as I didn’t expect them to show an interest in me. I thought you had to play in the Champions League to attract the attention of a club at this level.”
