Napoli legend Maradona released a statement through lawyer Angelo Pisani urging the ultras to focus only on the sport.

“This game at the Stadio Olimpico must be played with the utmost respect for the rules of civilised society.

“I only want to see the ball being kicked and nothing else. On the field and in the stands I must see fairness and chivalry.

“I am a symbol of peace in the world. I have always expressed fairness in my football and that is what I’d like to see in every single match.”
